| It was the night they came to praise Morten , Mags and Pal, not to bury them. A night when Norway's premier rock band took centre stage and a very special musical instrument made it's first public appearance. |
| Dublin's Legal Eagle pub, just a stone's throw form the city's law courts, was the venue for A-ha Ireland's first A-ha theme night, held on Saturday 22nd March 2003. And a terrific night it was in the company of Andrew, Christina, Graham, Thomas, Joanna, Becci, Claudine, Grace, Sinead, Ellen, Tracy, Kev, Michelle, Andrew & John. |
| The main body of entertainment was the table quiz, testing the fan's A-ha knowledge but with a few other 80's music questions thrown into the mix. Well done to Thomas, our winner with 36 points – even a sneaky 'trick' question about Take On Me didn't faze him. And of course, what party would be complete without music, music, music, courtesy of John Heavey who manned the decks superbly (he admits he's possibly not as big a fan as we are but he didn't let us down!) |
| The star attraction of the night, though was that piece of absolute master craftsmanship the is the A-h guitar. If you're a regular on our website you'll be familiar with it, but here was a chance to see the beauty in all its glory AND be photographed with it! We are making it our mission to see that it gets a good home. |
