In 1998 a-ha were invited to get back together to perform at the Noble Peace Prize Awards. Around 200 million people watched the show on TV and the band were inundated with offers to make a new album. In April 2000 the band released their first album since 1993 Minor Earth Major Sky which went straight to the top of the European album charts achieving Gold in it's first week in both Germany and Norway. Now in 2005, a-ha rears its head yet again, with the release of a-ha - The Singles Collection 1984-2004 in April, along with their tour both in Europe and the USA from August onwards. |
